ML3-A Series

The ML3-A Series is a high performance weigh module constructed of stainless steel. The ML3-A utilizes a low profile diaphragm load cell. The ML3-A Series is designed to accurately measure compression forces for applications ranging from 0-10,000 LB to 0-100,000 LB. The top load receiver plate is optional. An optional neoprene LRP (load receiver pad) is also available that promotes equal load distribution between adjacent weigh modules and reduces the effects of shock loading and vibration. The ML3-A Series load receiver plate articulates 3° in all directions, allowing intrinsic planar misalignment compensation, accommodating vessel support alignment, sloped flooring, thermal expansion/contraction, and other installation variables. This easy-to-install weigh module mounts directly to the floor or structural supports, and is completely self-checking, including uplift constraint with accurate (tension) measurement. The ML3-A Series weigh module is Harsh Environment Sealed to IP68 incorporating welded covers to protect all internal components. An integral conduit adapter (20K-100K LB))facilitates sealing and protecting the cable in conduit for increased enviromental protection. The integral premium, instrumentation grade cable features a durable polyurethane jacket over a tinned-copper braided shield for superior mechanical protection and to minimize the unwanted electrical effects of RFI and EMI. The attributes of the ML3-A Series make it an ideal choice for measurement in C-I-P (Clean in Place) process, heavy washdown and corrosive applications, reactor, mixer and blender applications where a IP68 sealed, high performance weigh module solution is required.
