The NB3 Series Summing/Junction Box is available in 4 load cell input configurations.
Functionally, the load cell inputs are multiplexed electrically in a parallel network using
discrete, highly stabilized components for isolation and signal adjustments for each channel
individually, with no interaction between channels. The NB3 Series active summing capabilities
distributes supplied excitation voltage to each load cell/transducer and sums the resulting
signal for transmission to control instrumentation. The “home run” cable is connected between
the NB3 Series and the control instrumentation that supplies excitation voltage and accurate
processing of the resulting load cell signals. Positive contact terminal connections provide
secure clamping of conductors, ensuring long term stability of measured signals. The PCBA is
conformal coated to protect it from the effects of condensation and corrosion. All NB3 Series
Summing/Junction Box enclosures are Hostile Environment Sealed to NEMA 4/4X, IP68.
