The UC1-C Series is a high performance load cell constructed of nickel plated alloy steel. The UC1-C is designed to accurately measure tension forces for applications ranging from 0-5 t to 0-50 t (metric). The UC1-C features web column sensing design, coupled with an enhanced strain gage arrangement, produces excellent performance. The UC1-C load cell is Harsh Environment Sealed (IP67-Limited Immersion) by virtue of proprietary multi-redundant barriers uniquely integrated to protect all internal components. The integral premium instrumentation grade cable features a durable PVC jacket over a tinned-copper braided shield for superior mechanical protection and for minimizing the unwanted electrical effects of RFI and EMI. The attributes of the UC1-C Series make it ideal for tension only measurements in shackle, spelter socket, and clevis assemblies for crane and winch loading, mooring line tension monitoring, and guyline tensioning. The UC1-C Series reliability produces exceptional performance for applications in aerospace, automotive, steel processing, mining, material handling, and petrochemical where a precision tension link load cell solution is required.
